It was 7:00 am when my alarm clock rang. Feeling sleepy was the result of the late nights I had for the past few weeks. Had my shower and changed into the blue and white uniform that was left untouched for many weeks.
I put on my white canvas shoes after breakfast and left together with my mother for my new secondary school. I stepped in to my new school hall realizing that this was a new chapter of my life. The students were seated in front of the hall, while the parents were seated at the back. Mrs. Mathews, our new vice-principal, started with a welcome speech. Soon after it was time to announce the classes that we were put into. Classes 1/1 and 1/2 had already left for their classes when, Madam Hong, announced my name and that I was put into my new class 1/3.
Feeling very disappointed and also left out was that I was put into a different class as my other close classmates. We were led to our new class rooms where we introduced to our teacher and what were the things to take note of.

After all the talking and preparations, we were released to the school canteen to wait for our parents. I met my close friends and were told that most of them were put into classes 1/4 and 1/7. Soon after I met my mother at the entrance of the school hall. I informed her that I was put into another class as my other friends and she said that, that was life, and that it was obstacles that I had to overcome.
